Chevrolet Bolt – GM’s first self-driving car
GM plans to add thousands of the self-driving Chevrolet Bolt to its test fleet.
According to a Reuters report, GM plans to deploy thousands of autonomous Bolts in partnership with Lyft Inc, which will test them in its ride-sharing fleet in several states, beginning in 2018. It is expected to be the largest such test of fully autonomous vehicles by any major automaker before 2020. According to the source, GM has no immediate plans to sell the Bolt AV to individual customers.
General Motors’ first all-electric long-range vehicle, the Chevy Bolt, is shaping up to be high-tech and affordable. A great combination for consumers.
